One-Out-Of-Five Women Businesses Owned By Those Of Color


A July 2007 National Women’s Business Council Report indicates that the number of women-owned businesses continues to grow at double the rate of all U.S. firms.

They are also becoming increasingly diverse, with women of color owning 1 out of 5 of those organizations. Out of all women business owners, 8.43% identified themselves as African Americans. Read On...
