Black Teens More Likely To Research Colleges Using The Web

Pew Internet’s Teens and Social Media Study, released last week, determined African American teens are more likely to use the internet to do research on the colleges and universities they prefer to attend.

“Seventy-Nine percent black online teens say they use the internet to look up information, compared to 51% of their white peers.”

The Pew Internet & American Life Project provides insight on how the internet impacts families, communities, work and home, daily life, education, health care, and civic and political life. Source
