More Findings On African American e-Fluencers
eMarketer shares more findings from Burson-Marsteller’s survey on African American e-fluencers, defined as those "who have sway over others and often engage with multiple audiences."
The demographic speaks to an average of 56 people daily, 40% more than all African Americans and 20% more than all e-fluencers, regardless of race. Advertisers seeking to engage these buzz agents should look at supporting philanthropy efforts geared towards the African American community, as well as seek credible spokespersons to promote their brands.
Although this group tends not to spend as much time interacting socially online, they are more likely to use the web for email, shopping and reading news content. Source
